Dog Training Classes
We offer all grades of the Kennel Club Good Citizens Award scheme across 2 different venue locations, Sale and Ashton-on-Mersey.

We’ve love training with Just for Paws! Our dog is nearly four and has trained with Ema since being a tiny puppy.
We’ve done a whole range of classes and workshops, from puppy basics, connection / focus classes and a scent work course, to the KC Bronze award and more recently a set of virtual classes on zoom to keep our dog stimulated and entertained during lockdown.
All Ema’s guidance and advice has really helped us as dog owners and we’ve learnt so much from her over the years.
We have always said that Ema’s classes teach us how to train and how to build the best relationship with our dog, rather than having someone else train her for us, so we can carry on between classes and adapt the skills we learn to different situations.
Both the online classes recently and in-person courses previously have always been good fun and really effective too!

Fun and relaxed classes for you and your dog
Just for Paws dog training classes incorporate positive dog training methods in order to teach you how to train your dog to a recognised national standard with the Kennel Club.
Upon completion of each stage you will be invited to attend an assessment where upon passing each stage of the scheme you will be awarded with the Kennel Club Certification and rosette. You can find more information about the Kennel Club Good Citizens scheme on the THE KENNEL CLUB WEBSITE.
Our dog training classes also provide you with the skills you need to train your dog in all aspects of dog training.
We can help you if your dog pulls on a lead, doesn’t come back when called, barks or lunges, chases the postman or nextdoor’s cat!
Dog training classes at Just for Paws are taught in a fun and relaxing environment, using positive reinforcement methods.
All dog training classes are 6 weeks long and cost £120.

I have done two courses with Ema now and thoroughly recommend.
Puppy and bronze. Even through the challenge of the lockdown we completed online classes and it was really effective being able to practice all the techniques with no distraction but Ema always on hand to help out when things didn’t quite go to plan!
Also had some 1-1 sessions as hit some adolescent issues which Emma gave us video consultations that really did the trick.
